Methods of Control

Initiation as mind conditioning

"This was the secret of the mysteries, this and nothing else"[1]. Fear, fasting, darkness, drumming, symbolic death and debilitation make the initiate's mind plastic, so implanted ideas resist counter-influence. The Mysteries, the Cult of Mithra, Eleusis, the Egyptian priesthood (months in caves, snakes, drugged drinks, oaths at sword point, drowned corpses shown as warning) and Freemasonry all use it[2]. The Abode of Learning adds a "confusion technique" that throws pupils into doubt so they lean on the teacher[3]. Hassan-i Sabbah drugged youths in an artificial paradise[3]. William Sargant's Battle for the Mind and the Chinese reconditioning experiments show the same principles[1]. The Luxor Hotel is "a temple of initiation for the masses"[4].

Degrees, pyramids and graded secrets

Every order is a pyramid. "Slathering idiots" at the bottom seek secrets they will never be told, and a few at the top know "the only secret is how to control those on the bottom"[5]. The Blue Lodge knows nothing; the 30th degree learns the object of worship; the 33rd is awarded for the Great Work[6]. The Egyptian priests gave the greater secrets only to a few[7]. The Mysteries tolerate every religion at the bottom while "at the highest, you will belong to only one religion"[1]. "Morgan" says you control the masses "by dangling a secret like a carrot in front of their nose"[8].

Blood oaths, penal signs and murder

Masons swear "over two dozen oaths before Master Mason", at least 32 by the 32nd degree, with penal signs miming throat-slitting, heart-tearing and disembowelment[9]. The Skull and Bones and Illuminati oaths honor "the Aqua Tofana" (poison) and the dagger[10]. Exposers are murdered, like William Morgan in 1826[11]. Masons "always lie" to outsiders[12]. Mutual-protection oaths, "whether he be right or wrong", explain pardons and acquittals such as Jefferson Davis's[13]. Security oaths in intelligence trap people into silence about treason[8].

Exoteric/esoteric double teaching and symbolism

The profane get the exoteric story and initiates the esoteric: the "two pair of eyes"[7]. Initiate authors such as Plutarch and Synesius deliberately confused their texts[7]. Symbols "are like the letters of the alphabet" (Maxwell)[14]. The sun, obelisk, pyramid, eye, beehive, point in a circle, 666, 13, the Masonic G, the double-headed eagle and the caduceus are planted in architecture (Washington, D.C., the House of the Temple, the Vatican, Dealey Plaza, Atlanta, the Luxor, the UN Meditation Room), on currency (the Great Seal reverse and the dollar), in corporate logos (CBS, NBC, America Online, Chrysler, Union 76, Prodigy, Saturn, Mazda), in films and TV, and in words ("horizon" = Horus rising; "sunset"; "doves and hawks"; "alumni" = illumined)[15]. "Nothing is really hidden; they rely on people not looking"[4].

Infiltration and mutual advancement

The Assassin pact (Hassan, Omar Khayyam, Nizam al-Mulk), that whoever rises first pulls up the others, "is the method for infiltrating and controlling large masses, populations, governments, military organizations"[3]. Masons hire Masons "under them"[16]. The Illuminati seizes governments "by degrees, and in silence"[17]. Its members take high posts in education, government, the military and the press[18]. Members attend churches "as a lie" to gain influence[19]. Taqiyya, feigned orthodoxy, lets them appear as ordinary members of the majority faith[20]. Sleeper agents are placed for years[21].

Hegelian dialectic and "ordo ab chao"

"Conflict creates change"[16]. They lead both sides, create the problem, and deliver the pre-planned solution: problem–reaction–solution[22]. Nazis against communists is the illusory right against the left[23]. Crime, drugs and gangs are deliberately permitted or financed until frightened people hand over power[14]. The LA riots were "prearranged" for May Day[23]. "Ordo ab chao" is the motto of the 33rd degree and is over the World Masonic Headquarters door[24]. Order "manifest[s] under many different names ... and sometimes even seem[s] to oppose ourselves"[25]. "That's why we have been on the losing end for literally thousands of years"[26].

Controlled opposition and false heroes

Patriot-movement leaders are Masons "sworn to the order, to their one world government"[27]. The Liberty Lobby, Tom Valentine and Radio Free America ("Radio Freemasonry") spread anti-government messages so people will "voluntarily overthrow" their own government, and they attack exposers[28]. Bo Gritz is being built up as a demagogue amid chaos created by the Order[29]. Sensational stories such as the Vince Foster murder are released before big events like NAFTA[30]. Barbara Honegger was "a plant"[31].

Manufactured enemies, fake aliens and planned wars

"The only enemy, folks, that the people of the world have ever had is right here"[32]. The Soviet "evil empire" was a paper tiger armed by the U.S.[23]. "We created them"[14]. Zecharia Sitchin, 32nd-degree UFO researchers and NASA's SETI are to stage an alien threat that forces world government[33]. The world wars furthered the plan[34], and Colonel House took America into WWI for a new world order[34]. The planners hold WWIII, famine and depression in reserve[34]. The 1993 World Trade Center bombing is a planned event[21].

Depopulation, eugenics and extermination

Global 2000 aims to cut population by 2 billion by 2000, Djwhal Khul says one third of humanity must die, and John Randolph Price's guide speaks of 2.5 billion[17]. Maxwell and Hilder, Cooper's television guests, say AIDS was made at Fort Detrick and spread through WHO smallpox vaccines in Africa and hepatitis B shots to homosexuals via the Public Health Service[23]. American sterilization laws (Indiana, 1907) were the model for Nazi racial hygiene[30]. The unfit and refusers of the new religion "go on to other worlds"[17]. The NWO is to hold public guillotine executions as blood-atonement sacrifices[16].

Religion: ecumenism, syncretism and false doctrine

Constantine's compromise fused paganism with the church[35]. The World Council of Churches and the Masonic rapture theologians merge denominations into one "religion of man"[36]. The rapture doctrine "lulls Christians into complacency"[19]. The New Age deifies Lucifer and redefines Christ as an office[37]. Interfaith events such as Assisi (1986) and Denver (1993) preach "unity of all religions from one ancient source", which is "the central philosophy of the secret societies"[38]. Mystery Babylon created Protestantism to divide the church[39].

Education, media and entertainment

Freemasonry controls the church and education, and the Scottish Rite backs government schools, a plank of the Communist Manifesto[40]. Values clarification (Sidney Simon) changes children's values "without getting caught"[26]. Graduation robes and mortarboards initiate graduates into a priesthood that "goes along to get along"[41]. Hollywood is "nothing more than an instrument in the hands of the secret societies"[14]. Circus Circus's Roman circus and the Luxor supply bread and circuses[4]. Cubism and rap music induce "calculated confusion"[5].

Money, debt and dependency

The Templars were the first international bankers[42]. The Federal Reserve "is a private banking institution" that lends fiat notes to the Treasury at interest, is never audited, and keeps its stockholders secret[43]. Fiat money is "counterfeit" and set to collapse[14]. Entitlements are "the rations of slavery, hay and a barn for human cattle" (O'Rourke)[13]. People trade freedom for "daddy the state"[38]. Mormon wealth is locked in the Corporation of the President[29]. Hall's corporate–state merger is the coming socialism[44].

Law enforcement, surveillance and disarmament

Secular humanist judges, attorneys and police control the ACLU, ABA and Justice Department. They are to use the justice system "to protect the system from the masses", screen out Christian officers, and identify constitutionalists ("Rupert Orpheus" letter)[26]. Civil asset forfeiture, with DEA seizures and quotas, is "the vanguard of a police state"[45]. Other steps are the Brady Bill[46], State Department Publication 7277 and Public Law 87-297, the plan to disarm America[47], Prodigy reading users' drives[14], and UPC scanning conditioning people toward "the mark in the hand"[4]. Government war is waged on citizens at Ruby Ridge and Waco[48].

Race and religion as divide-and-conquer

Master-race myths (Aryanism, British Israelism, Christian Identity, the Anglo-Aryan lost tribe) keep races divided "to put the chains around our ankles"[49]. The secret societies are "racist organizations" that exclude people of color and scapegoat Jews while enslaving everyone[50]. Cooper's answer: "There is no master race never was and never will be"[51].

Hidden science and magic

The mystery schools developed science and hid it, so their technology is "50–100 years ahead"[52]. Compartmentalized specialization keeps each worker ignorant[52]. Egyptian priest-magicians used magnetism, mesmerism, poisonous dust and curses (the Tutankhamun deaths)[31]. "Magic is real, folks. I have seen it work"[53]. Astrology guides leaders, including Nancy Reagan[54].

Goals & Endgame

Cooper says the Great Work aims at "the destruction of the church, the state, and the enslavement of the mob, which is all of us"[31]. The initiates would re-establish the golden age of priest-kings, a "benevolent despotism"[7]. The illumined man, 666, would be raised, and a "one world totalitarian socialist utopia on earth" established under Lucifer[19]. In practice that means abolishing private property, religion and nation-states[55], and a world under "total control for every twenty-four hour period"[18]. A council of wise men would rule behind a charismatic figurehead, and "the real leaders will remain untouched"[56]. The law would be "do as thou wilt"[57]. There would be "one world, one currency, one race, one religion" (guests)[23], a New World religion whose Christ is an office attained by man, Christianity's "basic tenets" eliminated, and Lucifer incarnate on the world's throne[58].

Timetable: The structure was to be in place by 1999[34]. The 6,000-year mystery calendar runs from 4000 BC to 2000[59]. Jeane Dixon's child of 1962 reaches full power in 1999[17]. Global 2000 depopulation is set for 2000, with 2 billion fewer people, or 25% per Cooper's television guests Maxwell and Hilder[60]. World leaders are to meet at the Great Pyramid in 2000[23]. The Galileo probe might ignite Jupiter as "Lucifer" by 1999–2000[23]. The Age of Aquarius dawns after 2010[54], or, per Valentine, began on 23 August 1953[59]. Clymer's capstone will be set "when Mexico is once again a part of the United States", which Cooper reads as the purpose of NAFTA and GATT[32]. Cooper's stages are: Christians and patriots in prison and labor camps, then executed[19]; the unfit exterminated; "the New World Order will sail in on a sea of blood"[17]; public guillotine executions as sacrifices[16]; and human sacrifice returning "unless we are smart enough to stop it"[29]. He also says the NWO already exists legally, since the UN Charter prevails over the Constitution, and that the sheeple are only being acclimatized[61].

Why it will fail: "The concept that imperfect man can rule imperfect man in a thousand years of utopian peace on this earth is ludicrous"[62]. "Someone is going to expose the original lie upon which all of this was built", and "the whole structure will fall"[4].
