Lineage
He fell from heaven after rebelling against God (Isaiah, c. 740 BC). He spoke through the serpent to Eve and gave man intellect. He was then worshipped exoterically as the sun, which "shifted from the unseen God to the intellect", as Osiris, Baal and every later sun god, and in the Masonic lodge[4].

  1. 01The monolith in 2001 is Lucifer imparting forbidden knowledge. Initiates told Cooper that Christ and Lucifer are one being, which Cooper "cannot bring myself to believe"[7].
  2. 02The mystery schools consider Lucifer the good God and Jehovah the god of darkness. The illumined 666 is his incarnation[11].
  3. 03The New Age "writes God out of the picture and deifies Lucifer" (drawing on Constance Cumbey)[12].
  4. 04The serpent, the blazing star and the Masonic "Sun with a capital S" are all Lucifer. Masonic ritual keeps the North dark because it is the throne of God, which Lucifer seeks[13].
