The Club of Rome's 1991 The First Global Revolution chose global warming as "a new enemy to unite us"[1]. The UN's IPCC, fronted by Al Gore, sells it, Agenda 21 (1992) and Agenda 2030 (2015) put it into effect, and it was renamed "climate change" after the warming "pause"[3].
