Four books: And the Truth Shall Set You Free, The Biggest Secret, Everything You Need to Know, Perceptions of a Renegade Mind, 1995–2021.

Contradictions & Evolution

The corpus is four books written over 26 years: And the Truth Shall Set You Free, written in 1995 and reissued with postscripts as the 21st Century Edition in 2004; The Biggest Secret, first published in 1999 and cited here from the 2018 edition; Everything You Need to Know But Have Never Been Told (2018); and Perceptions of a Renegade Mind (2021). Icke's model changed from book to book. The first group of points below sets out that change as four stages, citing each book. The second records disagreements between the books, giving both positions. The later groups record tensions within each book, and a note on the data.

The four stages of the model

  1. 1995[1]: the Prison Warders and the Global Elite. The apex is "a symbolic name for the Fourth Dimensional consciousness which took over the planet", the Prison Warders of the Luciferic Consciousness[2]. The human summit is the Global Elite, "either direct incarnations of the Fourth Dimensional Prison Warders or have their minds controlled by them", above a "Brotherhood" of secret societies: "The Prison Warders manipulate the Elite, the Elite manipulate the Brotherhood network, and the Brotherhood network manipulates the world"[3]. The emphasis is banking, war and secret societies, and the controllers are symbolised as Satan, Lucifer and the Devil[4].
  2. 1999[5]: the Reptilians and the Babylonian Brotherhood. The apex becomes a named reptilian race from the lower fourth dimension, "the Biggest Secret", itself possessed by a fifth-dimensional force[6]. The human summit becomes the Babylonian Brotherhood of reptile-Aryan hybrid bloodlines, whose modern expression "controls the world today"[7]. The emphasis moves to bloodlines, genetics, ritual and possession.
  3. 2018[8]: the Demiurge, the Archons, the Spider and the Web. Drawing on the Nag Hammadi texts, Icke puts a new layer above the reptilians: the Demiurge (Yaldabaoth) and its copies the Archons, who hijacked Saturn and the Moon to broadcast a simulated reality[9]. The Reptilians and Greys become "Archontically possessed" vehicles, collectively "The Spider", and the hybrid bloodlines become the "El-ite", the Hidden Hand working through "the Web"[10]. "The Archontic distortion dictates to nonhuman entities including the Reptilians and Greys (collectively 'The Spider'), who dictate to the human-reptilian hybrid El-ite, who dictate to the mass of humanity"[11]. The emphasis moves to perception, the simulation and the coming AI assimilation. Sabbatian-Frankism appears as Satanism at the core of Zionism and the Web[12].
  4. 2021[13]: Wetiko, the Cult and the Sabbatians. The same force is now "the force which dictates the actions of the Cult": the Archons led by Yaldabaoth, experienced as Wetiko, "the Yaldabaoth frequency distortion"[14]. The human summit is the Cult or Global Cult, "Archons incarnate" and "Wetiko incarnate", which Sabbatian-Frankism "now largely controls"[15]. The emphasis moves to "Covid", the WHO and Bill Gates, Silicon Valley, Woke and the Great Reset, and to a synthetic "Human 2.0" on a Smart Grid[16].

What stays the same across all four. The structure stays the same in every book: a non-human force works through possessed or mind-controlled human bloodlines and a compartmentalised pyramid of secret societies, "the few at the top know the agenda and most members do not", and it feeds on human fear[17]. So do the endgame (world government, a central bank, a cashless currency, a world army and a microchipped or AI-connected population) and the core methods of problem-reaction-solution, funding both sides and control of money and media[18]. So does the answer: the power lies with the many, who give it away[19].

Why the chart's apex is the Demiurge. The later books (2018, 2021) are the latest statements of the model, and both put the Demiurge above the Archons and the Archons above the Reptilians and Greys[20]. The Reptilians of The Biggest Secret and the Prison Warders of And the Truth are therefore shown under their own stated superiors: the fifth-dimensional force[21] and the Luciferic Consciousness[22]. The Reptilians are now also shown under the Archons, following the later books. No book equates the Demiurge with the Prison Warders or the fifth-dimensional force, so those links are not drawn.

Between the books: disagreements, with both positions

  • The Reptilians' rank. The Biggest Secret: they are "at the heart of the web, or the top of the pyramid", controlled only by a fifth-dimensional force[23]. Everything You Need to Know: they are "Archontically possessed", "gofers for the Demiurgic (lack of) awareness", "ensnared by and subordinate to the Archontic distortion"[24]. Perceptions of a Renegade Mind: the reptilian is "one of the main non-human forms that Archons take"[25].
  • What is above the reptilians. The Biggest Secret names only an unnamed fifth-dimensional force[6]. The later books name the Demiurge and the Archons[26]. Neither later book says the fifth-dimensional force is the Demiurge.
  • Satan and Lucifer. And the Truth: symbolic names for the Prison Warders[27]. The Biggest Secret: Satan is depicted as a reptilian, and Satanism was created by the reptilians[28]. The later books: both are names for the Demiurge, with Lucifer, "the light bringer", the god of Freemasonry and Sabbatian-Frankism[29].
  • The Anunnaki. The Biggest Secret: the Sumerian name for the reptilian race, the "gods" who engineered humanity[30]. The later books: one of many cultural names (with the Chitauri, Watchers, Jinn and Predator) for the same manipulating force, now read as Archontic[31].
  • The human summit's name. And the Truth: the Global Elite, above the "Brotherhood"[3]. The Biggest Secret: the Babylonian Brotherhood[32]. Everything You Need to Know: the Hidden Hand and the "El-ite", Archon families "that appear human but aren't"[33]. Perceptions of a Renegade Mind: the Cult, with the phrase "global elite" kept only for the billionaires Schwab represents[34]. No book says that its summit is the same body as another book's, so each keeps its own profile.
  • The Sabbatians and the Frankists. And the Truth mentions "Frankists", founded in Frankfurt in 1786 and at the heart of the French Revolution, only as one Illuminati group[35]. Everything You Need to Know dates Frank's alliance with Rothschild and Weishaupt to 1773 and makes Sabbatian-Frankism the Satanist core of Zionism and the Web[11]. Perceptions of a Renegade Mind makes it "the cult of cults" that largely controls the Cult[36]. Both dates are recorded as given.
  • The Rothschilds' rank. And the Truth: "right up there" but not at the top, perhaps below the Habsburgs[37]. The Biggest Secret: the "pivotal family", though "others dictate to them"[38]. Everything You Need to Know: the "Saturnic Rothschild Mafia" at the Sabbatian core of Zionism; "What Israel (the Rothschilds) wants Israel (the Rothschilds) gets"[39]. Perceptions of a Renegade Mind: a Sabbatian "Cult bloodline" that controls America through the Rockefellers, its "subordinates"[25].
  • The environment. And the Truth: environmental damage is real, "knowingly inflicted by the Elite" and "no doubt in certain areas, exaggerated", and the green movement is manipulated to promote the New World Order[40]. The later books: human-caused global warming is itself a hoax, and carbon dioxide is "the gas of life"[41].
  • Jesus. And the Truth: "the man, probably called Y'shua" was real, part of a group incarnation of volunteers[42]. The Biggest Secret: a composite built from sun-god myths and written by the Pisos[43]. Everything You Need to Know: "Jesus did not exist"[44].
  • The monarchy. And the Truth: the Elite plan to destroy it through bad publicity, possibly by 1999[45]. The Biggest Secret: the Windsors are a core reptilian bloodline[46]. Everything You Need to Know: the royals are "Draco royalty incarnate", a reptilian and Saturnic bloodline[47]. Perceptions of a Renegade Mind: the monarchy still heads the UK, and the Queen is a "Cult gofer"[48].
  • Where humanity's power lies. And the Truth: "Who are the real Prison Warders...? We are"[49]. The Biggest Secret: "A few can only control billions because the billions let it happen"[50]. Everything You Need to Know: the El-ite "depend on the cooperation of the target population", and we "can stop creating" the agenda[51]. Perceptions of a Renegade Mind: "Humanity has the numbers and the Cult does not", and Wetiko's "real power is in persuading us that it has power"[52]. The theme is constant, but the 2021 book frames the remedy as mass non-compliance.
  • The timetable. The earlier books centre the awakening on 2000–2012, the Photon Belt and the Great Shift[53]. The later books centre the endgame on the technological assimilation of the young generation and Kurzweil's date of around 2030[54].

Within Everything You Need to Know

  • What is the Spider? It is "the Reptilians and Greys (collectively 'The Spider')"[11], but also the "Demiurgic Spider" beyond our timeline[55], and "Israel = Rothschild = Sabbatean Frankism = Satanism = The Spider"[11].
  • Masters or gofers? The El-ite hold "the most important positions of power worldwide"[11], yet are "pathetic vehicles and gofers" for the Reptilians and Greys[56]. The Rockefellers and Bushes are occult "lackeys", while Alan Greenspan has "tremendous occult power"[56].
  • Russia. Russia is "also part of the Web", and the Russian and US Deep States are one[55], yet its intervention in Syria was "the spanner in the works" of the Western plan[57].
  • Trump. He is an insider and "Neocon stooge"[58], yet his withdrawal from the Paris agreement is welcome for breaking the climate consensus, "right for the wrong reasons"[59].

Within Perceptions of a Renegade Mind

  • Who controls whom? Sabbatian-Frankism "now largely controls" the Global Cult[36], but it is also "part of a network going back into the mists of history", and "This is not about Israel. It's about the Cult"[60].
  • Biden's master. Biden is a "100 percent-owned asset of the Cult" and a "Sabbatian gofer", and also "China-controlled"[61]. Icke resolves this by making China a Cult centre[62].
  • One force, many names. Wetiko is the Archons, Yaldabaoth, the Jinn, the Predators and the Chitauri, and also the simulation itself and the Cult "incarnate"[63]. These equations are recorded as relations; the profiles stay separate.
  • Musk. He criticises the Cult at times but serves it[63].

A note on the data. The terror group ISIS is filed in the register as "Islamic State", so that it does not merge with the goddess Isis (merge.py matches names without regard to case); its material is summarised under Wahhabism, Al-Qaeda and Saudi Arabia. The register also keeps "House of Windsor" and "British Royal Family", and "Media" and "mainstream media", as separate entities; here they are handled in one profile each or cross-referenced.

Between the 1995 and 1999 books: how the model changed

  • The apex: Prison Warders or Reptilians. And the Truth puts a non-human consciousness at the top. "The Prison Warders, as I will call them, is a symbolic name for the Fourth Dimensional consciousness which took over the planet"[64]. It works for, or as, the Luciferic Consciousness ("the Fourth Dimensional Prison Warders of the Luciferic Consciousness")[22]. Its physical agents are unnamed "negative extraterrestrials" who posed as the gods of the ancient texts[64], perhaps the blond "Melchedekans" or "Elohim"[65]. The Biggest Secret replaces this with a named species: "a reptilian race from another dimension has been controlling the planet for thousands of years"[21]. These are the Anunnaki of Sumer and the Draco reptilians, and they are themselves possessed by a Fifth-dimensional force[66]. Neither book equates the two. The 1995 text never mentions reptiles, not even in its 2004 postscripts[67], and the 1999 book never uses "Prison Warders" or "Luciferic Consciousness". This document therefore keeps them as separate profiles in Tier 0. Reptilians remain first as the apex of the later model, and the stated relations connect each apex to its own human summit (Prison Warders → Global Elite; Reptilians → Babylonian Brotherhood)[68]. Much stays the same across the shift. In both books a fourth-dimensional controller possesses or mind-controls a human bloodline elite, feeds on fear, guilt and sacrifice, created the religions, and is losing its hold as frequencies rise. The shift is in identity and location: the 1995 book's Fourth Dimension as a whole (with positive and negative streams)[64] becomes the 1999 book's lower fourth dimension, the lower astral[69].
  • The symbolic names. And the Truth says Satan, Set, Lucifer and the Devil are symbolic names for the Prison Warders[70]. The Biggest Secret says the biblical Satan is depicted as a reptilian and that Satanism was created by the reptilians, "the fallen angels"[28]. The Watchers "sound remarkably like extraterrestrials" in the 1995 book[64] and are "the reptilians" in the 1999 book[71]. "Elohim" is the Melchedekans' biblical name in the 1995 book[70] and one of the Anunnaki's names in the 1999 book[32].
  • The human summit: Global Elite or Babylonian Brotherhood. The human apex in And the Truth is "the Global Elite", "either direct incarnations of the Fourth Dimensional Prison Warders or have their minds controlled by them". In the same book, "the Brotherhood" is the secret-society network beneath it: "The Prison Warders manipulate the Elite, the Elite manipulate the Brotherhood network, and the Brotherhood network manipulates the world"[3]. Above the Elite, it adds a Super Elite of "Black Magicians" who control the All-Seeing Eye cult, "the force behind the Global Elite"[37]. The Biggest Secret drops the term Global Elite. It raises the Brotherhood, now the Babylonian Brotherhood, to the bloodline summit "at the top of the human pyramid", ruled internally by a Satanic hierarchy[72]. The two names are kept apart, and the 1995 book's stated relation (Global Elite controls the Brotherhood network) is recorded. The register merges the 1995 book's "Brotherhood" into Babylonian Brotherhood because Icke uses the same name for the same network. Its rank is what changed.
  • Where the Illuminati sit. In And the Truth the Illuminati "answers to its Global Elite" and "interconnects within the Global Elite" with the Black Nobility[37]. In The Biggest Secret they are the reptilian-hybrid bloodlines themselves, with degrees above those of Freemasonry[73].
  • Where the bloodline comes from. And the Truth relays a UK insider's account: about 5,000 blond, blue-eyed Melchedekans escaped a destroyed planet, landed at Sumer, created the white race as a slave race, and their pure inbred stream "overwhelmingly make up the families of the 'Illuminati'"[3]. In The Biggest Secret the ruling lines are reptile-Aryan hybrids: white Martians/Aryans crossed with the Anunnaki reptilians after the Venus cataclysm, with the pharaohs and the "Ramses-Piso-Bush" line[74]. Both books connect Hitler's blond "master race" to these origins[75].
  • The dating of the origins. And the Truth dates Sumer's origin to c. 6000 BC[3] and the sinking of Atlantis to c. 10,500–9,500 BC[64]. The Biggest Secret gives c. 11,000 BC for the cataclysm that ended the Golden Age, and c. 4,800 BC for the Venus cataclysm after which the reptilians "went undercover" and founded Sumer[76]. Both are recorded as given.
  • The 2012 date. And the Truth cites the Maya calendar's end of a great cycle on 21 December 2012, alongside astrological alignments on 5 May 2000 and the Photon Belt[77]. The Biggest Secret gives 12 December 2012 (the Maya changeover and the peak of the McKennas' timewaves) and frames it as the "Great Shift"[78].
  • Human origins. In And the Truth, Fourth-Dimensional ETs "genetically rewired" human DNA from twelve helixes to two, and O'Brien's Shining Ones/Elohim created modern humanity[64]. In The Biggest Secret, the Anunnaki geneticists Enki and Ninkharsag created the LU.LU slave race in a test tube, after Sitchin[32].
  • Who created the controllers. And the Truth stresses that humanity attracted its own prison: "the elite clique which controls the world... are our creation"[79], and "Who are the real Prison Warders...? We are"[49]. The Elite are "not all powerful"[80]. The Biggest Secret keeps the theme ("A few can only control billions because the billions let it happen")[81] and adds that the reptilians are "a necessary evolutionary experience" humanity attracted[78], but its emphasis is on exposing a real external race and its bloodlines.
  • The monarchy: target or summit. In And the Truth the Elite and Illuminised Freemasonry are "pledged to overthrow the rule of the monarchies"[37], and "the barrage of bad publicity that has destabilised the Royal family... is designed to destroy the monarchy", with 1999 given as a target year[45]. The book still lists Queen Elizabeth II in the Committee of 300 and as patron of the RIIA[82]. In The Biggest Secret the Windsors are "the highest profile reptilian family on the planet" and "at the heart of global manipulation"[46], and Icke calls for them to be stripped of power[83].
  • The Rothschilds' rank. And the Truth: "the force behind the House of Rothschild is right up there, but I do not believe they are at the top", and "maybe the Habsburg dynasty is above them"[37]. Some researchers, the book notes, put a Council of Thirteen, a Council of Thirty Three and the Committee of 300 under them[37]. The Biggest Secret makes them the "pivotal family" and "one of the top Illuminati bloodlines", shape-shifting reptilians, while "others dictate to them from higher in the pyramid"[84].
  • The JFK assassination. And the Truth, drawing heavily on Michael Collins Piper's Final Judgement, makes it an Elite coup run through the CIA, Mossad, the Lansky syndicate and the OAS, over Dimona, the Federal Reserve and Vietnam[85]. The Biggest Secret reads it as a Brotherhood ritual, the "Killing of the Sun King" in Dealey Plaza[86]. Both are recorded; neither book rejects the other's account.
  • Jesus. And the Truth treats "the man, probably called Y'shua" as a real figure: perhaps a positive extraterrestrial and part of a group incarnation of volunteers 2,000 years ago who "ascended" beyond the prison[87]. It also lists the Christian saviour story among recycled sun-god stories[3]. The Biggest Secret treats the Gospel Jesus as a composite built from those myths and, Icke claims, written by the Piso family[88].
  • The fifth dimension. The Biggest Secret places a Fifth-dimensional force above the reptilians[6]. And the Truth has no fifth-dimensional level; its highest force is the Luciferic Consciousness of the Fourth Dimension[64].
  • What stays the same. Both books describe the same programme: world government, a world central bank and electronic currency, a world army, a microchipped population and regional unions as stepping stones[89]. Both describe the same methods: problem-reaction-solution, funding both sides, money lent into existence, compartmentalised pyramids, mind control, and religion and science as twin prisons. And both give the same remedy: love rather than fear, and taking back one's own mind[90].

Within And the Truth Shall Set You Free

  • Masters or stooges? The Global Elite "controls the world"[79] and engineered the wars[91], yet "They think they are in control, but they are not. They are stooges, a means to an end"[77]. The Global Elite are "either direct incarnations" of the Prison Warders "or have their minds controlled by them"[3]; Icke does not choose between the two.
  • External warders or ourselves? The Prison Warders are a Fourth-Dimensional extraterrestrial consciousness that hijacked the Earth[64], and also: "Who are the real Prison Warders...? We are. You, me, all of us"[49]. Icke presents the second as the deeper truth, not a retraction.
  • Kissinger: yes-man or master? Kissinger is one of the "yes-men, and super-gofers"[37], and also "the Elite's Ambassador-at-Large", overall head of the secret service, behind Watergate, and (per Mitterrand) "master manipulator" of the Yugoslav war[92].
  • David Rockefeller: kingmaker or puppet? He is "the Kingmaker of America" who selected Carter and groomed Clinton[93], and also "really a puppet of those above him in the pyramid"[40].
  • Whose Mossad? Mossad is "the Israeli/Global Elite intelligence agency", "the Global Elite's wholly-owned subsidiary" and the Rothschilds' agency[94], while Israel is also said to run "a global terror and manipulation network" of its own for the House of Rothschild and the Elite[95].
  • Sources he disagrees with. Icke uses The Spotlight, Lyndon LaRouche's Executive Intelligence Review and the Christian Patriot writers for "names-places-dates research, not their belief system"[96]. He also criticises Christian Patriotism as a dogma the Elite has used[97].
  • The Protocols. He uses the Protocols of the Elders of Zion, renamed "the Illuminati Protocols", as a statement of the Elite's plan, while insisting that the plan is not a Jewish one and that ordinary Jews are its "propaganda fodder"[98].
  • Dates the text gives that the extracts flag. "1909" for the Elite's support of Wilson's election[35] and "1853" for J. D. Rockefeller's start of Standard Oil[99] are marked "as given in the text". They are recorded as given.

Within The Biggest Secret

  • Who is at the very top? Icke gives several apexes. The reptilians sit "at the top of the pyramid"[100] but are possessed by a fifth-dimensional force[6]. "Ultimately the lower fourth dimension orchestrates it"[101], yet he also says "ultimate physical-level power" lies underground in Tibet and Asia, with a "higher authority in Asia" dictating to the Rothschilds[102]. London is the "operational centre", but "greater power lies in the Vatican"[103]. Within the Brotherhood, the Satanist hierarchy "possibly" has a High Priest and Priestess at the top[100], while Arizona Wilder names Pindar as the highest figure she knows[104]. He says the true apex is a "shadow cabal" above the nameable bloodlines[32]. He does not rank these against each other.
  • The Queen: ultimate authority or subordinate? She is "the ultimate authority, more important than elected governments" by oath[105], and the idea that she has no power "is part of the scam"[46]. Yet "even she is not at the top of the pile; her boss is whoever controls her"[106], and she is below the Queen Mother and Pindar[107]. The Windsors are both "at the heart of global manipulation" and "still 'gofers' of a kind"[46].
  • The Rothschilds: summit or servants? They are the "pivotal family" and among "the top Illuminati bloodlines"[84], yet "others dictate to them from higher in the pyramid"[38].
  • Hitler's mother or grandmother? In The Biggest Secret Icke's argument that "Hitler was a Rothschild" rests on his quoted source, which makes Maria Anna Schicklgruber the mother of Alois Hitler, Adolf's father, and so Adolf's grandmother[108]. She conceived Alois while a servant in the Rothschild mansion in Vienna, when Salomon Mayer Rothschild was the only Rothschild there (1837). Icke nevertheless refers to her loosely as "Hitler's mother". The quoted chain makes Salomon Mayer Hitler's grandfather, which is the claim Icke draws[108].
  • The goddess and the princess. "Diana" is at once the Moon goddess (a mask of Semiramis/Isis/Ninkharsag, and in her Hecate aspect a Satanic deity) and the princess, whom Icke calls a positive "light being" and victim. He ties the princess to the goddess symbolically throughout. He also says she symbolised Isis, while the Brotherhood's goddess worship serves its negative female energy[109]. The register keeps them as two entities.
  • The equations of the gods. Icke equates Nimrod with Baal, Moloch, Janus, Oannes, Mithra, Osiris and John the Baptist, and Semiramis with Isis, Ishtar, Diana, Barati, Britannia and Venus. Yet he also treats Osiris-Isis-Horus as the Egyptian mirror of Nimrod-Semiramis-Tammuz, in which Horus = Tammuz, while elsewhere Tammuz is "an aspect of Nimrod"[110]. The identifications overlap rather than form one consistent scheme.
  • Are the reptilians the enemy? He says the reptilians are the controllers and names individuals as Satanists and child killers. He also says only one faction is malevolent, that "many reptilians" help humanity, and that there is a "positive" reptilian faction[66]. He asks readers to forgive them and meet them with love, while calling for the Windsors to be stripped of power and their crimes exposed[111].
  • Enki's side. Enki "is generally seen as on humanity's side", but Icke thinks "both factions want dominance"[32].
  • Sitchin as source and sceptic. Icke builds on Sitchin's translations while reporting that Sitchin denied any evidence of a serpent race and tried to warn him off[76].
  • Clinton's bloodline. Clinton is "of the same bloodline as the Windsors" with "more royal blood"[103], and also "almost certainly a Rockefeller" from a secret breeding programme[84]. He is also said to be controlled variously by Hillary, Bush, David Rockefeller and Kissinger[112].
  • Kissinger's masters. Kissinger serves the reptilians, Satanism, the London Black Nobility and "the Tribe", and was also a KGB asset per Goleniewski[113].
  • Mandela. Icke calls him "probably genuine" while saying he consulted the Oppenheimers on every major decision[114].
  • The Freemasons: culprits or dupes? Freemasonry is "a front for the worship and advancement of reptilian power"[115], yet "the vast majority" of Masons "are not Satanists" and, like environmentalists, would be "horrified" by the Agenda[116].
  • The Merovingians and Jesus. Icke rejects the Jesus-Magdalene bloodline story as a Priory smokescreen[117], while using the same Merovingian genealogies (Sauniere's parchments, the Priory's Grand Master list) as evidence for his reptilian bloodline[118].
  • Dates the author gives that the extracts flag. Several dates are marked "author's date" or "as dated by Icke": Wilson's presidency from 1909, the Lusitania in 1916, Cromwell's death in 1661, FDR's second term in 1937, Bacon's The New Atlantis in 1607 and Mountbatten at Suez in 1958[119]. They are recorded here as given.
  • A source discrepancy. Footnote 49 of chapter two gives Genius Of The Few as by "Christian O'Brien, with Joy O'Brien", where the text says "Christian and Barbara O'Brien"[120].
  • Evolution across the book. The early chapters present the controllers as an advanced extraterrestrial race or races, and humans as possibly "an interplanetary hybrid race"[121]. From chapter two onward they are specifically reptilian and fourth-dimensional[21]. The later chapters add the fifth-dimensional force[108] and the cosmic Shift of 2012 as the counterweight[78].
