Anunnaki

Where each worldview places it
The Sumerian name for the reptilian race[1]. They are the 'gods' who came from Nibiru, engineered homo sapiens as a slave race, and created the royal bloodlines to rule on their behalf. They ruled overtly and now rule covertly[2]. Icke identifies them with the Reptilians, the Chitauri and the Watchers. In the later books the Anunnaki of the Mesopotamian tablets, led by Enlil and Enki, are the same Reptilian invaders as the Zulu Chitauri; they caused the Great Flood and forced humans to mine gold in Africa[3]. Icke now treats them as one of the forms of the Archontic force[4].

Lineage
They arrived c. 450,000 years ago to mine gold in the Abzu (Africa, Zimbabwe), though Icke doubts gold was the main reason[2]. Their royal elite created the LU.LU after a miners' rebellion[2]. They left in flying craft as the Great Flood wiped out much of humanity (c. 11,000–4,000 BC), and they interbred with white Martian bloodlines "a few thousand years ago"[5]. Their descendants are the royal and priestly lines.

Author's claims · 9
  1. 01The divine right of kings is the right to rule by descent from the 'gods' (Anunnaki), not God: "Divine = gods"[2].
  2. 02Both the Enki and Enlil factions want dominance over the planet; neither is truly on humanity's side[2].
  3. 03The Bible and all religions are recycled, doctored versions of Sumerian accounts of them[2].
  4. 04They created the Brotherhood of the Snake, the core of today's secret society network (per William Bramley)[1].
  5. 05Menstrual blood could be their 'gold of the gods'[6].
  6. 06The Rothschild and Windsor-Mountbatten bloodlines go back to them[7].
  7. 07Icke accepts Sitchin's themes but doubts some detail. Sitchin, he says, told him there was no evidence of a serpent race and almost warned him off[8].
  8. 08The Biggest Secret gives "Elohim" among their names[2]. And the Truth Shall Set You Free instead identifies the Elohim with the blond Melchedekans who landed at Sumer[9]. The two identifications are kept apart; see the Elohim and Melchedekans profiles.
  9. 09The Sumerian tablets say the Anunnaki caused the cataclysms, after which civilisation restarted at Sumer (c. 5,400–1,750 BC), and supplied the knowledge of writing, astronomy, mathematics and architecture[10].
