The "humanist religion". / Cooper: the doctrine that man will become God, with a new religion that changes with man's needs instead of man obeying God's laws.
The movement that "emerged from the Darwin view of life", "another vehicle for manipulation" convincing humans there is nothing beyond the physical[1]. In the 1995 book's model of the Prison Warders' strategy, when religion waned "you introduce a new 'science'… You also develop other vehicles for this drivel and call it Humanism"[2]. The Biggest Secret says it continues the materialist tradition that the universe was not created and death is the end[3].
