The murderer of Osiris. Esoterically he is ignorance and pride that tear the doctrine apart[1]. Cooper says that for the mystery schools "Typhon is their designation for Christianity", and also for the "black brotherhood" of the Jesuits[2]. The adversary in the mysteries' own story.

Lineage
He grew out of the spirit of darkness that slew Nimrod[3]. He equals Set, the Egyptian Prince of Darkness who kills the Sun at sunset[4]. Cooper infers that Adonai plays Typhon's role in Masonic myth[5].
