"This mysterious secret order" appeared on the Temple Mount in 1110, crowned the first Christian king of Jerusalem, and commissioned the nine Templar knights. It is not the Pope who commissioned them[1]. Its sole purpose is to protect the bloodline claiming the divine right to rule (unnamed there)[2]. Cooper dates "everything that's happening today" from 1110[1].
