The biblical Satan is depicted as a reptilian, and Icke identifies him with the reptilians. He uses "Satanism" not for a Christian devil but for a system of ritual sacrifice to "a highly destructive negative force given endless names"[1]. In And the Truth Shall Set You Free Satan is a symbolic name for the Prison Warder consciousness of the Fourth Dimension[2]. In the later books Satan is the Christian name for the Demiurge: "Demon of Demons" corresponds to "Archon of Archons"[3], and "Yaldabaoth is both the Old Testament 'god' and the Biblical 'Satan'"[4]. Revelation's serpentine Satan who "deceiveth the whole world" is the same force[5].
